Love, DIA Couture and Fashion presents our 3rd annual fashion show and benefit AMALGAMATION 2012, a Fashion Focus Chicago participant, October 20, 2012 at St. Stephen, 3042 W. Washington, 7pm.
AMALGAMATION features up to 15 new and independent designers, including Kiyoko Linden, Carmen Renee, Cynt DB Art and headlining Love, DIA Couture and Fashion. A portion of the proceeds benefits The Red Pump Project, a national organization that raises awareness about the impact of HIV/AIDS on women and girls, and “Girls Rule!”, which seeks to “establish a safe environment for girls to ‘blend-out’ rather than to ‘blend-in’ as they discover the type of women they would like to become”.
This year’s Harlem Renaissance-themed installment will feature some of the best and brightest new models in Chicago, walking the runway to LIVE Jazz, R&B, Gospel and Spoken Word performances of some of the greatest music and writings in history by local talent. Tickets are $25 for General Admission and $40 for VIP (includes VIP reception, advance entry, Catering by Shuga Pleeze and a complimentary gift bag with each ticket- Limited Quantity available).
